Full payment due at time of booking. You must cancel by emailing booking@stayjacobsonscottages.com at least 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date to receive a reservation refund minus a $50 cancellation processing fee. Cancellations for any reason at 29 days or closer to your scheduled arrival date will not be eligible for a refund for any reason. Reservations made 29 days or closer to your scheduled arrival date will be non-refundable. Deposit can not be rolled over to future reservations. Reservations are Non-Transferable.

Changes to your reservation must be done at least 30 days prior to arrival. No changes will be allowed within 30 days of your scheduled arrival date.
So, here's the truth. As a small business in an area with a very limited operating season, the cancellations impact us greatly. Really, it hits us hard. Therefore, we are sorry to say that we must be strict on our policies, regardless of the reason. We are located in an area with varying weather (strong winds and snowstorms are not uncommon), road construction and closures, wildfires and, of course, last minute sickness and personal emergencies can arise. We strongly urge you to purchase travel insurance that will cover you for any of these events.

We love kids! We asked that you don't leave them unattended for their safety.

Cooking (including toasters) is not allowed in or around the cottages (excluding the cottage with full kitchen). If you wish to cook, please use the grill and picnic tables on the back lawn.

We don't think damages will happen, but if they do the Primary Guest assumes the full financial responsibility for any damages, stolen items, or broken items occurring during your stay, whether caused by the Primary Guest or by any member in your party.

There are free range cattle in East Glacier, seriously. We hope you think that's as cool as we do. To make sure they don't eat all our flowers, we close our property gates every evening and during the day when there are free-range cattle in the area. Feel free to open them, but don't forget to shut the gate behind you.

We do our best to accommodate late check-out requests but please be aware that, in the height of summer, it is difficult for us to fulfill those requests. If you have not made prior arrangements with us for a late check-out and stay beyond the 10:00 am check-out time, you may be charged a late check-out fee of $150.

We do not have guest laundry on premises but there is a laundromat very close by. We ask that you do not hang damp clothing or towels outside your room or on room furnishings. Please contain them to the bathroom, use the drying rack at the back of the property, or utilize dryers at the laundromat.

We are a non-smoking property. Smoking/vaping is not allowed inside or on any area of the property. We are strict about this because our guests are expecting a smoke-free environment and we don't want to let them down. If you smoke you will be charged for the damages to the property and you may be asked to leave immediately without refund. Please note, if you're smoking just off property and we receive complaints from neighbors or other guests thats a bummer. We like to be good neighbors and if you must smoke, it's best to book one of the other properties in town.

Prices quoted are for double occupancy (two people) unless as noted.

This property was built in the 1930s when cars were smaller. It makes it have a wonderful feel without a giant parking lot, but things can feel a bit tight for parking. Each cottage has one designated parking spot. We have a very small property so additional cars or large trucks and oversize SUVs can not be accommodated, but can park on the street next to the property. We ask that you please park head first in your designated spot only and do not back into the spot. Damage to lawn or landscaping is a bummer will be at your expense. No parking on lawns or landscaping.

We have a no pet policy at this time and we don’t allow pets on the property.
If this policy is disregarded, you will be assessed a $250 fee plus any additional damages, and you will be asked to leave without refund. Also, leaving your pet in the car is not not allowed.
We recognizes the rights of those with disabilities who require a service animal. We are trusting that you present a service animal in good faith. Please don’t break out trust ya know?

Quiet hours are from 10:00pm to 8:00am though we do expect all of our guests to be respectful of fellow guests and honor that many people visit this area to enjoy the peace and tranquility of wilderness.

Rates are subject to applicable taxes and to change without notice. Other than tax which might change between your time of reservation and your arrival, the rate quoted to you when your reservation is booked and confirmed with our confirmation email will be the rate honored.

We clean your guest room before you arrive and upon guest request. Additional towels and linens will be provided if you need them. Don't hesitate to ask.
